Respect Sarah Palin's Fresh

An amended Republican National Committee (RNC) Federal Election Commission report shows that the RNC paid about $23,000 for clothing in the three weeks before and after Election Day -- which is actually $7,000 less than previously reported. That new report brings the total cost of Palin's clothing paid by the RNC down to about $173,000 and also makes it easier to spot clothing purchases that had previously gone undetected. For example, a $289 payment to high-end shoemaker Stuart Weitzman, which had been described as “retail” and “accessories,” became “candidate clothing.” The RNC did not respond to requests for comment about the amended report or the fate of the clothes, which were to have been donated to charity.

Sarah Palin had absolutely no chance of becoming Vice President of the United States and she knew it. She used McCain's Presidential campaign to raise her national profile and to get a $173,000 wardrobe. I don't agree with her politics, but I can't fault her for being an opportunist. Sarah and Bristol, when she loses her baby weight, will have the freshest wardrobe in the Land of the Midnight Sun. Kinfolk Kia Shine, a "swag rapper" from Memphis, would be proud of Ms. Palin's fashion sense.

S.Dots, Reeboks, shell toes, icey whites
Old school Jordans man
Which one I'm gon' rock tonight
Bathing Apes, Polo boots, or my Louis loafers
By the time I make my mind up
